Sister-to-Sister: International Network of Professional African American Women, Inc.™ (“Sister-to-Sister International, Inc.”) places high priority on protecting your privacy. Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. created this Privacy and Communications Policy to demonstrate the nonprofit service organization’s firm commitment to the privacy of our members and website users. The policy explains what types of information Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. collects on its website, https://www.sister-to-sister.org/, and how this information is used.

 

What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected?

 

Existing members, and prospective members who register at https://www.sister-to-sister.org/ to receive Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and e-mail address). How Your Information May Be Used

 

Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. uses your personal information to send e-mail announcements about happenings within National (e.g., upcoming events, planned actions, important notices, etc.) to you; answer your requests; process your membership registration, etc.  We may also use your information to track visitors of our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular, to better serve our members' needs. It also allows us to provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example) to outside parties.  You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from us.

 

Email Privacy

 

Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. will not disclose your name or email addresses to anyone outside the organization. Nor will we share this information with other member(s), unless you expressly consent and provide a written, notarized request. External Links include links to external websites, such as those in our Learning Resource Libraries.  These links do not fall under our domain, https://www.sister-to-sister.org/, and Sister-to-Sister International, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external websites.  

 

Modification

 

We may amend/modify this Privacy and Communications Policy at any time, by electronic notice posted on our website and/or electronic mail from info@sister-to-sister.org. Please review our website periodically to remain updated on our Privacy and Communications Policy.  Your continued use of our website after the date that such notices are posted will be deemed to be your agreement.
